Using latest 4.0.1 RTM

The F3 "quick find next" is using the "match case" settings from the "Find & Replace" box, rather than the "match case" settings from the quick find bar.

Also, I would prefer if "Find & Replace" focused the find box when it pops up, rather than the replace box.

Also, I would prefer doing away with quick find, in favor of a find dialog with a history.

Now I just had the "quick find next" using the text from the "find and replace in files" dialog. It seems this problem comes up randomly.

The settings should be synchronized in both "dialogs". We try to improve these but people have different opinions how they should behave.

Check: Disable Find Option Sync & Disable Find Text Updating from settings

I already had both of those disabled...

This is really obnoxious.. to clarify:

1. search with ctrl-F - it finds the first match
2. press F3 to find the next - it finds nothing, because its now using the case settings from the dialog

ctrl-F uses the quick find bar settings
F3 uses the dialog settings
