i can't use this plugin.

it really doesn't work in FlashDevelop 4.0.0 Beta3. but i found a solution for it.

• download source code http://gonegothic.com/files/flashdevelop/HighlightSelection/HighlightSelection.zip
• add to PluginMain class this property

• add reference to library C:\Program Files\FlashDevelop\PluginCore.dll

Works like a charm, but preferred the full highlighting of the words instead of underlining them, but it`s ok,

Highlighting on an average size file( 3k+ lines ) gives very poor response time from when selected to when highlighting is complete due to many results being found and during that time the whole application FlashDevelop becomes unresponsive.

I am a huge fan of highlighting while coding but is there any way around this issue because this is really annoying :(

I also liked the whole word highlighting in Flashdevelop 3 much better than just underscore highlight in Flashdevelop 4. But to be honest my favorite highlighting that I have seen is the way Netbeans does it, but that is just my opinion.

Anyway I really do like this plugin and I hope that someone who really appreciates highlighting will take this and add onto it to make it faster and better.

Unfortunately the plugin doesn't work on FD 4.0.0 RC2.

It says incompatible error when I re-open FD4...
I am on a 64bit cpu win7, is this the reason?

I would like to ask some questions:

1. Is it possible to ignore commented text (i.e. skip highlighting commented code)?
2. How to highlight what truly is selected and not just what has been selected by double-clicking?
3. How to dismiss highlights?

Also, there's a conflict between this plugin and highlighting modified lines. Highlighted modified lines doesn't work if the plugin is enabled.
