Post Ask Adobe
The Flash Blog currently has an "Ask Adobe" column up:
http://theflashblog.com/?p=1254

My comment/questions are currently awaiting moderation:
Quote:
1. How come Adobe has been pushing “Adobe Director” at professional game related conferences (e.g., at least the past 2 years at GDC) and kept Flash representation absent?

2. What is preventing the iPhone from having an AS3 capable Flash player? Political, technical, both; what are the concerns?

3. What is the time-line for multi-touch support in Flash?

4. What does Adobe “think” about the FlashDevelop project.

5. What is Adobe’s policy in locking out users to particular bugs who spend the time to set up a Jira account and document their findings? (e.g., I can no longer access my bug https://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/SDK-21316 and no one has given me an explanation. )

6. When will Flash support joysticks / gamepads?

7. Will Adobe have representation in the newly created “IGDA FlashSIG”?

Interesting questions, we'll see what Adobe answers to that.

I think this is a nice PR operation from Lee, I hope they will answer to all questions ;)

I think I can shed some light on #5, if you want... There are issues that aren't displayed publicly for security reasons, even if the information will turn out to be a false alarm, it is not worth risking. I.e. once you have it reported, the next day there may be some evil person, who'd benefit from knowing about it. I think I have 2 reports in that section...

wvxvw: You may be right, but I want to hear it from the horses mouth. My biggest issue is that I (the one who reported it) can no longer see it. Right now it means I'm tempted to either:
1. Not report future bugs
2. Post the bug else-where
3. Same as 2, but use Adobe's Jira as well

Well, maybe the reporter is the "evil person" :) who's going to use the bug, but need a proof it actually works :)
