Post Using MTASC to compile multiple SWFs?
I'm working on a Scaleform 3 project in AS2. Up to this point we've been coding in FD and compiling in Flash CS5. We're now evaluating MTASC as a means to compile our project (considering it's significant number of FLAs). Unfortunately the FD wiki only has an empty stub for "MTASC + Adobe Flash Professional workflow tutorial" so I've been at a loss for a solution.

What I need to do is compile each of our FLA's (FOO.fla, BAR.fla, etc.) and inject it with it's matching AS file (FOO.as, BAR.as, etc.). Unfortunately I've only been able to figure out how to compile one SWF with all the code in the src folder, which is not what we want.

How can I use FD & MTASC to manage compiling all of my FLAs/SWFs?

MTASC can only inject one SWF.

You should just write a script (BAT) to call MTASC for each SWF - it's really easy, check mtasc.org.

Thanks for the prompt reply Philippe.

I was hoping marking AS files in FD with "Always Compile" and adding @mtasc tags in opening comments would allow me to mark files to compile. I'll consider the BAT route though I'm likely to make a JSFL solution due to lack of FD integration.

If you were to consider more options for FD/MTASC integration I'm sure you'd make a lot of Scaleform developers happy... which we could use considering that a lot of us are stuck using AS2. :P
